Job Description:

Are you an experienced Recruiter who has the ability to match grade A talent to our organizations while ensuring a culture fit?  We are seeking to hire a Recruitment Specialist to join our team in Shiner, TX!

Primary Function:

Source and hire grade A talent for the organization while ensuring a culture fit.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees
  • Develop innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment/sourcing strategies to attract high quality candidates
  • Utilize various job posting platforms to identify qualified talent for open positions within company
  • Prescreen candidates and determine eligibility of employment
  • Scheduled, reschedule, and cancel interviews with applicants/ hiring managers within organization
  • Coordinate availability with all parties partaking in interview process
  • Inform and provide answers/insight to organizations policies and procedures
  • Create job descriptions and post jobs through various platforms
  • Build and maintain pipeline of candidates
  • Maintain requisition system
  • May assist other personnel within the overall scope of the department
  • Travel up to 20% may be required
  • All other duties assigned by management

  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work and employee files
  • Must be proficient with multitasking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
  • Must have experience in human resources and/or recruiting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office (strong concentration with Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively with both employees and managers
  • Ability to convey a positive attitude and professional image to applicants, employees and vendors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field
  • Minimum of two years human resource management or related field experience
  • Must be licensed to drive in Texas with clear history for the past three years
