Primary Function:
Source and hire grade A talent for the organization while ensuring a culture fit.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees
- Develop innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment/sourcing strategies to attract high quality candidates
- Utilize various job posting platforms to identify qualified talent for open positions within company
- Prescreen candidates and determine eligibility of employment
- Scheduled, reschedule, and cancel interviews with applicants/ hiring managers within organization
- Coordinate availability with all parties partaking in interview process
- Inform and provide answers/insight to organizations policies and procedures
- Create job descriptions and post jobs through various platforms
- Build and maintain pipeline of candidates
- Maintain requisition system
- May assist other personnel within the overall scope of the department
- Travel up to 20% may be required
- All other duties assigned by management
Skills:
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work and employee files
- Must be proficient with multitasking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
- Must have experience in human resources and/or recruiting experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Intermediate experience with MS Office (strong concentration with Excel)
- Ability to work effectively with both employees and managers
- Ability to convey a positive attitude and professional image to applicants, employees and vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field
- Minimum of two years human resource management or related field experience
- Must be licensed to drive in Texas with clear history for the past three years
