Kaspar Wire Works: Sales Engineer

Job Description:

Primary Function:
Business to business sales of manufacturing services, and solutions.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Prepare and give technical presentations that explain to customers how the produce or service meets their needs.
• Work with customers and engineers to ensure the product meets the customers needs and system requirements.
• Ability to establish customer rapport and acceptance.
• Secure Orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery
• Deliver customers a five-star experience.
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
• Ability to close sales
• Maintain customer records using automated system
• Always wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Up to 60% travel may be required
• All other duties assigned by management

• Must have knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and be able to prospect, and close sales
• Must have strong financial acumen
• The ability to interpret technical data from Cad Drawings
• Must have the ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of manufacturing-based selling
• At least 2 years’ experience in high volume sales environment
• Must possess current and valid driving record with clear history for the past three years

Physical Requirements:
• Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (33% – 75% of time)
• Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (10% – 25% of time)
• Lifting of 40 lbs. occasionally (0% – 33% of time)

Work Environment:
• Typically, inside a climate-controlled office and is required to occasionally move from office to manufacturing areas and outdoors to perform duties
• Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment where the use and wear of proper protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed toe shoes are mandatory
