We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custom Shop Rifle Craftsman. You will be responsible for creating custom bolt action rifles based on written or verbal instructions developed from customer consultations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unique and high-quality firearms, will be able to work independently to produce custom rifles that meet the specific needs and requirements of each customer, and have a strong background in gunsmithing, machining, and mechanical engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Build custom bolt action rifles from scratch, including designing, prototyping, and testing.
- Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences and provide recommendations on design and functionality.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all rifles are built to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Continuously improve the design and manufacturing process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the firearms industry.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce content for social media.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, arts, or other related creative fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, fabrication, machining, or gunsmithing.
- Strong knowledge of firearms and ballistics.
- Personal portfolio showcasing creative projects is a huge plus.
- Strong presentation skills a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing and/or walking (33% – 100% of time)
- Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (50% – 75% of time)
- Lifting of 25-50 lbs. occasionally (0% – 33% of time)
Work Environment:
- Typically, inside a climate-controlled manufacturing space with the occasional need to work in manufacturing areas and outdoors to perform duties.
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment where the use and wear of proper protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed toe shoes are mandatory.
