Job Description:

Primary Function:

Business to business sales of manufacturing services, and solutions.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Heavy emphasis on cold calling and solicitation of new business opportunities

Emphasis on providing the best-in-class customer experience

Quote prices, credit terms and other specifications to prospective customers

Working through all stages of the sales funnel

Maintain technical knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and limitations

Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills

Ability to close sales over the phone

Maintain customer records using automated system

Always wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Up to 10% travel may be required

All other duties assigned by management


Must have knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and be able to prospect, and close sales

Must have excellent verbal and written skills

Must have technical, and analytical skills,

Must have strong financial acumen

The ability to interpret technical data from Cad Drawings

Must have the ability to solve problems as they arise.

Must be computer literate and have experience with MS Office programs

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


Knowledge of manufacturing-based selling

At least 5 years inside sales experience in high volume sales environment

Must possess current and valid driving record with clear history for the past three years

Physical Requirements:

Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (33% – 75% of time)

Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (10% – 25% of time)

Lifting of 40 lbs. occasionally (0% – 33% of time)

Work Environment:

Typically, inside a climate-controlled office and is required to occasionally move from office to manufacturing areas and outdoors to perform duties

Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment where the use and wear of proper protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed toe shoes are mandatory
